I just ordered this but am returning it for a smaller size. I ordered a Large, which is usually just right for me, if not almost small sometimes. The Large fits ok, but I am returning for a medium for a little more control. Otherwise it looks ok, I have worn this brand before and like it. Ordered multiple shapewear slips at the same time and am returning all for refund except this (exchaning for smaller) and one other brand.

This slip has changed my life! I am really little (size 2), but I have come to rely on my Spanx to smooth everything out under my wrap dresses! I love my DVF wraps, but a lot of times the material she uses is kind of thin or clingy (and shows EVERY bump), but when I wear this slip under those dresses, everything is smooth and nice. (Plus I love that this gives your rear a little boost. Not sure how, but I swear it does!) I bought one for my mom, who is now addicted too! TRY THIS!! You will wonder how you lived without it!!

Want to lose 10 lbs around your midsection without plastic surgery? Buy this immediately! This is truly amazing. You will look and feel better in your clothes (especially low fitting pants and slim knit dresses). A tad tricky to get into (practice or give yourself plenty of time when getting ready). But other than that…this thing is worth its weight in gold. I’m buying at least one more!

It’s amazing! I read some other neative reviews and I was skeptical at first. I, however, love the product. I feel 10lbs thinner! It is definately just for special occasions, it’s more comfortable than your average “gertle”, but not so that you would want to wear it normally. The little straps that go over your bra are a pain to fasten so have someone help. Also, they actually put thought into having to pee and built in this opening, which is thoughtful but tricky-haha. Overall, I would recommend it to someone trying to smooth out. I am about a 8 and easily went down a size.

You shouldn’t have a problem breathing in it. At first I did, then I got a size bigger, and I love it. It is a total pain to get into, but once you do, it slims very well. I have to get used to it, I feel like a stuffed sausage, but I have never bought at slimming thing before. The straps are useless, they come undone. But I didn’t have a problem with it falling down at all. It stayed put. I can bend and walk in it comfortably, and breath well too. The slit in the crotch comes in handy, because it would be a pain to take it off to go pee. Overall, I like it, I just don’t use the straps.

I Absolutely love this product. It can be worn in place of any camisole and is just as comfortable. I love to wear it under pinchy sweaters. I saw my cousin on Saturday and when i wore the camisole on Wednesday under my sweater she actually asked me if I lost weight because I looked thinner?

This was way too big to do what I thought it might. I don’t know if another size would be better but it is thick and also sits so low that I can’t use it to wear under a sweater b/c it doesn’t cover enough chest. So this is not for a lady with a chest.

My stats… 5′1″, 38-40 C cup bra, about a size 1x in normal clothes. My issue is the above the waist “tummy pooch”

I have been looking for a “shaper item” to not flatten, but rather to just “suck in” my upper (above the waist) tummy area for a smoother look under clothes. I was concerned that this camisole would have the very bad effect of flattening my chest… it does NOT!! I wore this with a bra. It comes with a built-in bra but im a 38-40 C cup and yeah thats insufficient for me in the bra department. It seems to me that if you wear this with a real bra, you will be good to go. The fabric in the bra area is not super tight, but it is fitted. The tummy area is tight enough to “suck-in” and smooth a poochy tummy… but not SO tight that you cant breath… its comfortable AND controlling. This is going to be good for EVERYDAY use not the kind of power shaper for say a wedding or super special event. just enough to smooth for everyday wear and comfort.

I was concerned about the flattening the chest aspect, I read MANY revies before purchasing…. I believe that when women said it flattened the chest they must have been wearing it without a normal bra. I hope this clears up the confusion I had before buying.

Also I normally wear about a size 1X top and I got mine in an XL… this item does seem to run a little large so I would say to go down 1 size.

Overall… WONDERFUL everyday smoothing camisole!! The cheaper ones at say Kohls or Sears aren’t as good… this one is pricey for an undershirt, but with this one you ARE getting what you pay for. (I love it!!)

I really like the material, and what the Spanx is designed to do, but I’d like to see it offered for shorter women! I’m 5′3″, and to ‘take up the slack’ I’d have to pull this item all the way to my hips! The straps are too long for me, also, so they fall down sometimes. I’ve considered ordering a smaller size, but somehow I don’t think that would help because they aren’t offered by height, just by chest size.

I too love this product. I wear one almost every day and they are extremely comfortable. My only complaint is I feel I need a bra for extra support and sometimes the bra peeks through the top of the cami. If you’re smaller chested this won’t be a problem but if you like the extra support/perkiness of a bra like I do be prepared to make adjustments throughout the day. A little more spandex would be nice, but the control and smoothness is very good.

After reading all the not so good reviews, I decided to check it out myself at Nordstroms. I asked the clerk for a size C but she insisted that I’m too small for a C and opted for a B instead. It was a pain putting it on but it was well worth it. Like what the other reviewer stated, please do not be discouraged by some of the prior reviews. But I definitely would not recommend this product if you have excess rolls on your back (bra rolls) cause this will definitely just roll back down. The hose is really comfortable compared to Slim n ‘Lift , I just love, love this product.

In my experience, the high waist stays exactly where I want it AND the hose are extremely comfortable–more so than conventional hose simply because there is NO rolling at the waist– the top goes all the way to the bottom of my bra and STAYS there. I wear these hose to the office and even after 12 hours on, I feel no need to rip off my hose when I arrive back home–something I did frequently with other control hosiery. And most tummy control hose work on tummy but do nothing for the waistline–my biggest concern. Believe me I have tried many many products of all kinds. This product is a great alternative to corsets (which work but are unbearable after a few hours). This product also disguises lines and bulges under clingly clothing. If you try this item and still have a problem with the rolling waist band mentioned by other reviewers, may I suggest you try a slightly higher size? The compression still works and the smoothness factor under clothing and the illusion of a smaller waistline are clearly worth the effort.

So by now you get it— I am REALLY happy with this product. I’m going to continue to buy this item even though a bit pricey as panty hose (and I would ideally prefer a separate hose and waist control)–but there is nothing out (including other Spanx products) there that works as well for my particular issues WITHOUT compromising comfort. One suggestion to Spanx– add more colors for this hose. Different flesh tones and some opaque too. Please?

I couldn’t believe it. It is a bit tricky putting on but once on it’s light and airy and gives a very smooth effect. I forgot I was wearing it!!! I’ll definitely be looking at other Spanx products in the future and also need to order a duplicate of this so I can have one ready while the other is in the wash.

I am a typical pear shaped, somewhat pudgy, middle-age woman (size 12 on bottom, 6 on top!) I have tried other products like the high-waisted Spanx power panty and was not satisfied so I was skeptical about this one. I am very happy with it. Yes, it was interesting, and somewhat challenging to put on the first time, but it stayed up all day, and I actually was quite comfortable wearing for a full workday. With the others I tried, I was constantly feeling like I had to pull up the back and they made my thighs look like sausage links. I wore this one under pants and the thighs were very smooth. I didn’t feel squeezed in the middle and again, I was comfortable for a full 10 hrs. of wear. I would recommend this undergarment.
