I Absolutely love this product. It can be worn in place of any camisole and is just as comfortable. I love to wear it under pinchy sweaters. I saw my cousin on Saturday and when i wore the camisole on Wednesday under my sweater she actually asked me if I lost weight because I looked thinner?

This was way too big to do what I thought it might. I don’t know if another size would be better but it is thick and also sits so low that I can’t use it to wear under a sweater b/c it doesn’t cover enough chest. So this is not for a lady with a chest.

My stats… 5’1″, 38-40 C cup bra, about a size 1x in normal clothes. My issue is the above the waist “tummy pooch”

I have been looking for a “shaper item” to not flatten, but rather to just “suck in” my upper (above the waist) tummy area for a smoother look under clothes. I was concerned that this camisole would have the very bad effect of flattening my chest… it does NOT!! I wore this with a bra. It comes with a built-in bra but im a 38-40 C cup and yeah thats insufficient for me in the bra department. It seems to me that if you wear this with a real bra, you will be good to go. The fabric in the bra area is not super tight, but it is fitted. The tummy area is tight enough to “suck-in” and smooth a poochy tummy… but not SO tight that you cant breath… its comfortable AND controlling. This is going to be good for EVERYDAY use not the kind of power shaper for say a wedding or super special event. just enough to smooth for everyday wear and comfort.

I was concerned about the flattening the chest aspect, I read MANY revies before purchasing…. I believe that when women said it flattened the chest they must have been wearing it without a normal bra. I hope this clears up the confusion I had before buying.

Also I normally wear about a size 1X top and I got mine in an XL… this item does seem to run a little large so I would say to go down 1 size.

Overall… WONDERFUL everyday smoothing camisole!! The cheaper ones at say Kohls or Sears aren’t as good… this one is pricey for an undershirt, but with this one you ARE getting what you pay for. (I love it!!)

I really like the material, and what the Spanx is designed to do, but I’d like to see it offered for shorter women! I’m 5’3″, and to ‘take up the slack’ I’d have to pull this item all the way to my hips! The straps are too long for me, also, so they fall down sometimes. I’ve considered ordering a smaller size, but somehow I don’t think that would help because they aren’t offered by height, just by chest size.

I too love this product. I wear one almost every day and they are extremely comfortable. My only complaint is I feel I need a bra for extra support and sometimes the bra peeks through the top of the cami. If you’re smaller chested this won’t be a problem but if you like the extra support/perkiness of a bra like I do be prepared to make adjustments throughout the day. A little more spandex would be nice, but the control and smoothness is very good.

After reading all the not so good reviews, I decided to check it out myself at Nordstroms. I asked the clerk for a size C but she insisted that I’m too small for a C and opted for a B instead. It was a pain putting it on but it was well worth it. Like what the other reviewer stated, please do not be discouraged by some of the prior reviews. But I definitely would not recommend this product if you have excess rolls on your back (bra rolls) cause this will definitely just roll back down. The hose is really comfortable compared to Slim n ‘Lift , I just love, love this product.

In my experience, the high waist stays exactly where I want it AND the hose are extremely comfortable–more so than conventional hose simply because there is NO rolling at the waist– the top goes all the way to the bottom of my bra and STAYS there. I wear these hose to the office and even after 12 hours on, I feel no need to rip off my hose when I arrive back home–something I did frequently with other control hosiery. And most tummy control hose work on tummy but do nothing for the waistline–my biggest concern. Believe me I have tried many many products of all kinds. This product is a great alternative to corsets (which work but are unbearable after a few hours). This product also disguises lines and bulges under clingly clothing. If you try this item and still have a problem with the rolling waist band mentioned by other reviewers, may I suggest you try a slightly higher size? The compression still works and the smoothness factor under clothing and the illusion of a smaller waistline are clearly worth the effort.

So by now you get it— I am REALLY happy with this product. I’m going to continue to buy this item even though a bit pricey as panty hose (and I would ideally prefer a separate hose and waist control)–but there is nothing out (including other Spanx products) there that works as well for my particular issues WITHOUT compromising comfort. One suggestion to Spanx– add more colors for this hose. Different flesh tones and some opaque too. Please?

After I started wearing this product, so-o-o many people started complimenting me on my appearance and my “new outfits.” {i didn’t buy any new clothes but I did start wearing belts over my jackets and sweaters to emphasize my smaller middle.] Many also told me that I looked like I had lost weight or was working out more. They said I was in great shape. What they didn’t realize is that the only thing I had changed was something they couldn’t see and didn’t suspect– my spanx high waist pantyhose!
